In collaboration with SGGM Architects, Paragon provided Interior Design services for the New Health Sciences Building at St. Ambrose University. This modern 40,000-square-foot, $11.5 million facility fosters interdisciplinary learning opportunities while maintaining excellence in each program’s specific educational area. Every classroom was designed with flexible, mobile tables and chairs, to provide a variety of arrangements. Carpet tiles with interesting texture and warm earth tones were used throughout the corridors and classrooms to add interest.
On the main floor, a large common area featuring lounge seating is available for casual gatherings between meetings and classes. A variety of seating options: tables with chairs, lounge chairs and sofas, offer many ways to study, meet and converse. All furniture, fabrics, carpeting, paints and wall coverings were chosen with timelessness, durability, stain resistance, and environmental consciousness in mind.
We are proud to have successfully designed the building to echo the tradition of its historic past while revitalizing its future as a multipurpose academic facility.
